We work on pre-order. Tell us what you want, and we find it at Japanese auctions and dealers, buy it for you and deliver it to Cyprus with local plates. Use the configurator to see which cars fit your budget, open any car to see its details, or choose one of the cars we can order for you right now.
Guide prices include the car, shipping, customs, registration and delivery. The final price depends on the year, mileage and condition of the car we find.

Japan and Cyprus both drive on the left, so Japanese cars are right-hand drive and suit Cyprus roads. Japanese cars often have low mileage and full service records.
We read the auction sheet, which grades the body and interior and records mileage and repairs. We send you photos and the translated sheet before you decide.

Minimum age 21. A valid driving licence held for at least 1 year. Bring your ID or passport.
A refundable deposit of €300 is taken at the start of the rental and returned when the car comes back in the same condition.
Unlimited mileage. The car is given with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank.
Import usually takes 6 to 10 weeks from deposit to delivery. Most of that time is sea freight.
WAVEX is a Cyprus company that imports cars from Japan and rents cars on the island. We started because buying a good used car in Cyprus was slow, unclear and expensive.

Usually 6 to 10 weeks from deposit to delivery. Shipping from Japan to Limassol takes most of this time.
We give you the full price before you pay the deposit, including shipping, customs, registration and delivery. If customs rates change before the car arrives, we tell you straight away.
The car is in Japan, so we send detailed photos and the auction sheet. The auction sheet is an independent inspection report with the car's grade, mileage and any repairs.
The deposit is agreed with you for each car, usually 20–30% of the car price. The balance is paid on delivery.
Yes. Send us the link or the lot number and we will check the car and give you a full price.
You must be at least 21, hold a driving licence for at least 1 year and show your ID or passport. We take a refundable deposit.
Yes. We deliver and collect the car anywhere in Cyprus. Delivery outside Paphos may have a small extra fee.
Yes, every rental includes third-party insurance. Full cover is available for an extra daily fee.

These terms apply to the import and rental services of WAVEX LIMITED, Griva Digeni 51, Athineon Court, Office 202, 8047 Paphos, Cyprus (Φ. Π. Α. CY60182326Q) ("WAVEX", "we"). By using our website or services you agree to these terms.
An import order starts when you accept our written offer and pay the deposit. The offer lists the car, the total price and the expected delivery time.
If we cannot buy the car you chose, we offer you another car or return your deposit in full.
If you cancel after we have bought the car, the deposit is not refundable. It covers the costs we have already paid.
Prices are in euro and include the costs listed in the offer. Changes in customs duty, tax or fees set by the authorities after the offer date are passed on to you at cost. We tell you about any such change before delivery.
You pay the balance before or on delivery. We hand over the car and its documents after full payment.
Delivery times are estimates. Shipping, port and customs delays are outside our control and do not give a right to cancel, unless the delay is longer than 60 days past the estimated date.
Imported cars are used cars. We describe each car using the auction sheet and photos. Normal wear for the car's age and mileage is not a defect.
The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence for at least 1 year. Only drivers named in the rental agreement may drive the car.
A refundable deposit is taken at the start of the rental. We may keep part of it for fuel, damage, fines or late return.
The car must be returned on the agreed date and time with a full tank. Late return is charged per day.
The renter pays all traffic and parking fines during the rental period.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, except where the law does not allow this limit.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes go to the courts of Cyprus.

When you send a request we collect your name, email, phone number, car preferences, budget, message and any photos you upload.
We use this data only to answer your request, prepare offers, and provide import and rental services. We do not sell your data.
Our staff, and partners who need it to deliver the service, such as shipping agents and customs brokers.
We keep request data for up to 2 years, and contract and invoice records for as long as Cyprus law requires.
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Write to wavex.lim@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
